S.H. Figuarts Silver Crow

So for my first review I’ll be reviewing the S.H. S.H.Figuarts Silver Crow from Accel World.

This release of Silver Crow follows the basic S.H.Figuarts joint system with includes an abs crunch, waist joint, elbow joint and knee joints which is double jointed and bends around 75°, alongside that a swivel at the hands, 360 movement in the arms and head and the typical diecast feet which the S.H. Figuarts line uses (toe joint and side to side and forwards and back movement)

The visor of silver crow comes off a little on the dark side under most light sources and I would prefer to have it a touch lighter.

Also to note here is that the shoulder guard is attached to the arm which doesn’t hinder with figure’s possibility.

The Wings look absolutely beautiful with the back half being clear and the front half being painted with the silver and has all the details on them, which gives it a really good affect.

The figure also comes with 8 extra hand part, 2 swappable arm parts and 2 effect parts (a punch an slashing effect)

This figure also comes with a tamasha stage which attached to a port on the back which I like since it doesn’t require the claw like attachment that most S.H. Figuarts uses.

The wings are attached by an octagonal peg on the back, it’s simple enough too attached but I would not recommend rotating it around too much since it may strip the edges of it. However there shouldn’t be too much of an issue since the hinges should provide more than enough movement. The wings when attached does make the figure pretty back heavy but that’s to be expected.

I think that should be it, so continue onwards with some photos. Just letting you know I’m not that great at posing figures and taking photos so forgive me if it looks terrible.

look at those wings... so pretty

again. its so pretty

Is it just me or does the visor seem really dark?

that slashing (or whatever you call it) effect

The conclusion

So in short this is an awesome figures overall, the silver paint that Bandai uses is in my opinion the best and I really don’t have much complaints. The effect parts that they give just looks pretty, the arms can be easily changed out without much issue. However I do have to nick pick on the shoulder guard on my figure, the right shoulder guard on my figure just seems to fall out all too often when posing the figure but your results may vary.

So for 3,800 yen it’s a really good figure overall. I’m not sure on whether it is still available since it came out over a year ago, but if you liked the anime or like the design in general I recommend you pick it up if you can find it. If not try looking around for the FIGMA from Max Factory, which I actually recommend as they have more releases from that show/novel. If you have a thing for building stuff I recommend actually picking up figurise 6 model of silver crow. Minus you have to build it it still looks pretty good.

Thank you for reading the review and I hope you enjoyed my first official review post. :)
